The IOSH Managing Safely course is a fun and engaging three or four day course, perfect for Supervisors, Managers and senior personnel from a wide range of industries. The course can be delivered over consecutive days or one day per week. All shift patterns can be accommodated.
We recently delivered the IOSH Managing Safely to four groups of senior fire fighters. Like with all our courses each element of the syllabus was tailored to their industry which really does heighten engagement and promote learning. We had some fantastic discussion on all elements including perception of risk, procedural compliance v’s moral pressures and the challenges of dynamic risk assessment in ever changing situations and whilst under close scrutiny.
The courses were a huge success and although the groups already had a good level of health and safety knowledge before they attended the course, everyone said they had learned something new.

The course includes checklists and other materials for delegates to try out and then use when they get back to work.
